I wanted to be a nurse in order to help people for as long as I can remember. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in 1992. After several years of experience working in the ICU and in home health I decided to go back to school for my master’s degree. I obtained my Master of Science in Nursing from Marymount University in 1997 and became a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. I spent the next 10 years as a primary care provider in a family medicine practice in Washington. During that time I gained vast experience treating all ages, with special training in asthma, diabetes, thyroid disease, and in women’s health. Several years ago I became interested in alternative and natural medicine, and I decided to switch gears and get my doctorate in Naturopathy.
We moved to Idaho in 2008 and God blessed us with our last miracle baby. Although I am still a full time wife and mother, I have the unique opportunity to help those who are seeking health and wellness for themselves and their families. I started Cross Natural Health in an effort to provide affordable, professional and quality natural and integrative health care to the Treasure Valley.
With my 20 years of traditional medicine experience and education as well my past and ongoing training in natural therapies, I believe I can provide a unique perspective and a truly holistic point of view for your health care needs. I can help you wade through the confusing waters of traditional medicine, drugs, and choices as well as educating and counseling you on natural therapies and treatments for almost any health concern. I am a very compassionate health care provider and I truly listen to your concerns and needs.
